Stefan Dieckmann - Game Programmer

About me: I’m from a little country called South Africa, thousands of miles away on the most southern tip of Africa. I spent most of my life there, but at the age of 12, my family moved to Germany. I naturally went with them and started my new life learning German and going to an international school. During my time in Germany, we traveled all over Europe. I’ve been to Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Holland, Belgium, England, Switzerland and Austria. After 5 years, my family decided to move to Thailand. I loved living in Thailand. I went to the International School of Bangkok, where I graduated in 2002. I’ve also traveled around in Asia, having visited Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia and Sri Lanka. From there I went to England to earn some money and eventually I moved back to South Africa to study. I earned a Diploma in IT Programming from Varsity College in Cape Town, and started working for a IT company. After a few months I decided to go back to school, to follow my life long passion, gaming. That is when I found out about UAT, and almost a year later, I went to study in Tempe (Phoenix), Arizona. I’m currently studying Game Programming and I'm about to graduate with a Bachelors of Science in Game Programming in May 2009.
